OK… By now, most beer people have heard about Maureen’s book, Ambitious Brew. It was released in Hardback last year…. But for the beer noobs… You need to rush out and find a copy of the newly released paperback version.

Groucho and CHUD talk to Maureen about what she had to endure to make this book, some of the lumps that come from righteous craft beer snobs and Budweiser bashers.

We are not here to take a side, but this book is a testament to the American spirit of enterprise and innovation. You can learn a lot from the early pioneers of brewing… And learn more about the boom of the Craft Brewing industry.

Don’t worry, hes recovering, and in his absence… CHUD has come through with an interview that was previously set up by Groucho.

Rick Dowland is the brewery Rep in the United States for XXX Brewing. You may not be aware that XXX is bringing their new beer, “Blaster” to the States this summer.

Rick gives some insight on how Blast works… With its patented “Blaster Packets” that “enhance the fun”.
